the streets look fine, but the pavement is rubbish at keeping traction, the car wears pzeros that would hang great in Mexico City...
Common wisdom from locals is that the sun eats up the pavement?

The government uses the shittiest pavement and gives it the least amount of treatment.
Also the climate is really dry, so I guess that has something to do with it. Drive carefully, thousands crash due to high speed and no grip.

I am driving with care, but I managed to activate the ABS brakes multiple times just to brake for speedhumps
